Christine Brunella was born in 1968 and began to see in a special way at an early age. She sees what others do not see, or only a few.
She is self-taught. She developed the skills to translate what she sees (differently) into drawings and/or to design her surroundings herself. Through calligraphy, a discipline located at the interface between drawing and sign, she began to transform (written) signs back into drawings and to rediscover their origins in nature. Autodidactics as a way of learning proved to be ideal, as it exclusively follows one's own inner impulse/impetus and thus develops original, personal and more direct means of expression.
